I ended up getting it for about 15$ shipping included. It was shipping from Canada (lower shipping for me) and was selling for so cheap that I just had to bid on it eventough I really didn't need it. The description was that the seller apparently found it in a box while cleaning his house and didn't test it. I saw this defective original Game Boy listed on eBay that nobody seemed to be interested in.
